Media & Video Management in #CXM important to few, knowledge of key factors needs spread.

In a global survey from 2013 SDL interviewed over 700 professionals to explore the state of CXM in todays marketplace. Out of the surveyed 20% stated that media and video technology was a key factor when implementing CXM.

Joyfully 55% of those had already implemented technologies to support Video & Media Management and an additional 16% had put it down as a top 3 priority.

However more than 80% of the respondents had not mentioned Video & Media Management as an important factor. This shows that knowledge of the importance of video in the next 5-10 years needs spread.

Especially considering that as much as 80% of all online content by 2020 is likely to be made out of moving media and for reasons like the importance of video in the sales process, both with-in B2B and B2C.
